if I am piecing the character's design together for you, a design fee will be applied. complex collage references or references with many discrepancies may be subject to a design fee, i'll let you know if so. if you want a custom character design done fully by me, it will be subject to a higher design fee. alternatively: very complex designs (such as ones featuring full detailed armours) may be subject to a design fee due to complexity. i'll let you know if this applies to your character.
ACCESSORY.	$5-40
price varies on how complicated the item is. any additional element you want added counts as an accessory: including but not limited to animals, objects, weapons, frames & borders, zoom-ins on details, etc.
BACKGROUND.	$3-80
price varies on what you desire for your background. i can't do overly complicated scenes or complex architecture/buildings. i can do backgrounds like in any of my previous works - but feel free to discuss with me what you have in mind. simple bgs (like swirls of color, magic, simple formatting) are cheaper, while full scenery backgrounds are more expensive.

» All prices are in $ USD
» Payment (in full) required after I provide the sketch.
» Payments via Paypal. I will send an invoice for the payment only.
» Commercial rights are not automatically included. If commercial use is intended, Ask for commercial rates.

terms

» I reserve the right to decline your commission (with and without reason).
» I reserve the right to use the art in my portfolios and post it on my social media. I will always with credit to you for your original character, when applicable.
» No refunds / returns / cancellations will be provided after I begin working on the commission.
» Have your funds allocated and available when submitting a commission request! Payment should be made promptly once the invoice is sent. I sadly won't accept "can I pay you next week / on my next paycheck?" - Please don't ask for a commission unless you're entirely ready to go.
» Base prices can change overtime, but this site will always be up to date on my current base prices. I will always provide a quote before we proceed! Each individual commission gets its own quote.
» Please pay mind to the "backgrounds & more" section at the bottom of the 'prices' page. Any additional elements (such as accessories, backgrounds, etc.) do cost extra to add. If you alter your request any time during the process by wanting extra stuff added, said additions will need to be paid for.
» I am open to special requests (which is anything not listed on my price page, such as but not limited to: chibis, something I haven't drawn before, a large creature, etc). If you submit a special request the price is subject to change and can be raised to accommodate for the nature of the request. I will always provide an estimate or quote for how much this would be before we proceed, so there are no surprises.
» My base prices are for commissions meant for personal-use only! You cannot use the commission commercially, but you can use the piece you commissioned in any personal way you desire. If you would like to commission me for commercial use or published / professional work (or would like to buy commercial rights to your previous personal commission), let me know and I will happily discuss my commercial rate with you.
» You cannot use the commission for any purpose utilizing A.I. or related to A.I. in any way. No exceptions.
» By commissioning me, you automatically agree to all of my listed terms.

the process you can expect...

thumbnail sketch. is typically the first check-in. Its for the overall pose/composition. Any and all major changes can be requested here (posing, heads, outfits, hairstyles, composition, etc.) but keep in mind the sketch is rough and fine details (stuff like eye shapes, finger lengths, etc.) shouldn't be nit-picked.

detailed sketch stage. I adapt changes you requested in the thumbnail phase and "refine" the sketch so its more clear. the finer details become more apparent, and you can be more picky about fine details here. this is the last chance to make significant adjustments to the piece (stuff like hand positioning, expressions, adding additional items, etc.)

lineart stage. during this stage I provide the clean lineart of the character figures. I don't typically line my backgrounds so they usually remain sketched, or some of the background may be blocked in with greyscale shapes. only minor adjustments can be requested at this point.

flat color stage. here I provide the flat colors for the characters. If your commission has a background, the background is typically fully rendered in during this stage, too. only color adjustments can be requested at this point, to ensure I capture stuff like skin tones / hair colors correctly.

final. after the flat colors are approved, I finish rendering and shading the characters and then send the final HD versions of the commissions to you! no changes can be requested post-completion.

Commercial Illustrations

» Our communications will serve as the contract for the agreed upon project, unless a signable contract is otherwise provided by you (the client). I reserve the right to review and negotiate any of your contract's clauses until they are acceptable to both parties prior to signing.
» My commercial rate has a x2.8 (280%) upcharge to my usual rates. ( for example: If you order a half body of 1 character with no background, and require the commercial rights, it will be $120 x2.8 = $336 USD total with commercial usage ). Please ask for quotes for specific requests!
» If you have a specific budget you're working with, please tell me what it is! I'd be happy to negotiate what can be made within your budget.
» For the purpose of print, please provide the aspect ratio you need it in ( for example: 6 x 9 ), and specify the size of any bleed/margins if I need to take that into account.
» You receive rights to reproduce, sell art prints / bookmarks / merch using the image, place it behind a paywall such as Patreon, and etc. - currently, all major commercial use is included in this markup.
» You cannot use the commission for any purpose utilizing A.I. or related to A.I. in any way. No exceptions.
» I retain my right to display the image on my sites and social media platforms as a sample of my work. I will not post the illustration until you greenlight it as alright for me to share.
» You must still credit me as the illustrator whenever relevant. Publications featuring the work should somewhere include clear credit to me for the illustration.
» My terms of service ( found on the "terms" page ) still apply to commercial illustrations, minus only the usage clauses since you get commercial use here.
» My commercial usage rights and rates may be subject to change. This page will always be up-to-date on the terms, and you are only subject to the terms that were active during your time of purchase.
